Bio

          Hello! I’m a Ph.D. research Scientist at Howard University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS). I develop and enhance security tools for wireless communication in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Cyber Physical System applications using different technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Edge Computing, Software-Defined Systems, and Cryptographic Protocols. I am advised by Dr. Danda B. Rawat (Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies (CEA), Director (Data Science & Cybersecurity Center), and Director (DoD Center of Excellence in AI/ML) at Howard University. ) and am a part of the Data Science and Cybersecurity Center (DSC2)Cybersecurity and Wireless Networking Innovations (CWiNs) and Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (COE-AI/ML) labs.

I graduated with my PhD in Computer Science from Howard University, Washington D.C. in December 2022. During my Ph.D. research at Howard University, I was advised by Dr. Danda Rawat’s on Internet of Things security, Intelligent Transportation Systems security, and wireless networking using AI/ML to obtain efficient wireless IoT networks. My primary research interest broadly lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, Cryptography models, Mobile Edge Computing, Cyber Physical Systems and Software Defined Networks where I seek to develop new analytical tools for understanding and enhancing the performance of Cyber Physical System networks and cybersecurity for IoT applications.  

In recognition of my significant contributions to the field of research, I have been honored with several prestigious awards and research grants. Notably, I was bestowed with the esteemed “Scientist of the Year 2023” award by the International Achievements Research Center, a recognition that underscores the impact of my work on a global scale. Furthermore, my dedication and excellence in the realm of research have earned me the highest distinction of Senior Membership from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), an acknowledgment that reflects the depth of my expertise and commitment to advancing knowledge in my field. These accolades serve as a testament to the significance and innovation of my research endeavors.
